Situated in a pleasant townSituated between Thirsk and Scarborough, Kirkbymoorside is a pleasant town and a good base for exploring the North York Moors National Park, Yorkshire coast and the surrounding area. Just three miles away, the sizeable Ryedale Folk Museum is located in Hutton-le-Hole, with its cluster of buildings giving an insight into the crafts and trades from past times.Stunning panoramic viewsYou can sit outside on the terrace and enjoy a cup of tea in the afternoon sunshine, or indeed a glass of wine in the warm summer evenings. There is ample parking directly outside the rooms which makes the accommodation easily accessible for the less able guest.Spacious and stylish guest roomsThere are eight spacious and stylish guest rooms in the recently renovated Barn. Each is beautifully decorated and comfortably furnished, providing a pleasing blend of modern comfort with old style character. All rooms are on the ground floor with French doors opening on to a west-facing terrace with views over the open fields, where sheep and lambs graze in the spring and summer months and my little family of Guinea Fowl forage for seeds and insects.
