City centre locationThe Melita is situated on the A3400 just 100m south of the River Avon. A level 5 minute walk will take you across the medieval Clopton bridge, through the beautiful Bancroft Gardens and onto the Royal Shakespeare Theatres, and the historic medieval town centre of Stratford upon Avon. Warwick Castle and the pretty North Cotswold villages are are all a short drive away or can be reached on public transport.Friendly AtmosphereThe Melita was built in 1888 and is one of the larger Victorian properties in Stratford-Upon-Avon. Established as a guest house in 1935, the Melita has been welcoming international guests through it's doors ever since.Luxury en suite roomsThe Melita B and B has a total of ten bedrooms eight of which are en suite and two have private facilities. All our rooms are individually decorated ensuring that no two rooms are alike. We have just completed a major refurbishment programme, resulting in all our superior and deluxe rooms being very spacious, with comfortable armchairs, and very large new super-king size beds 6' x 6'6". These are hugely popular and incredibly comfortable.
